My Creative Philosophy
- Collaborate – why go through all the trouble to hire a team if you’re not going to listen to their ideas?
- Trust your script – make a look bible and stick to it. It’s tempting to incorporate stuff after seeing something cool somewhere else. Stick to your vision.
- Play with ideas – take time explore. You’ll be surprised by how an initial idea can morph into something better when it’s bounced around a bit.
- Stay organized – 5 minutes of organization on the front end will save you (and your team) 20 minutes on the back end.
Hi. I’m Josh. A creative / art director based in the Dallas area.
My creative journey has taken a lot of twists and turns. From beginning college with video and audio editing, to discovering 3D modeling and game design. As a generalist, I love nothing more than discovering new techniques.
Before working for art studios, I was a bartender for many years. This may seem unrelated, but learning attention to details, multi tasking and how to communicate quickly with my team and charismatically with customers has really come in handy.
